Fiducials cause automation failure

Problem environment

Automatic and semiautomatic SMT lines use fiducial structures to increase manufacturing resolution.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Refer to the layout
  2. Locate fiducials

Expected result

Fiducial size is large enough, print is well formed, and structure wide enough to support automation.

Actual result

Fiducials are too small and poorly placed (next to PTH.)

Workaround

Manually center optical tooling on the existing fiducial marks.

Severity level

This is low priority because project requirements do not mandate automated efficiency.
