Programming interface speed is suboptimal

Problem environment

Chip programming applications like openocd(1) can selectively accelerate the programming speed, according to a user configuration.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Review openocd(1) documentation
  2. Locate instructions for speed_khz
  3. Locate instructions for adapter speed

Expected result

Sendcomm firmware is programmed at the maximum speed the programmer can perform.

Actual result

Programming operations are carried out at a suboptimal speed.

Severity level

This is low priority because project requirements do not mandate user programming.
