Do virtual visits to stakeholders

Problem environment

The uncertain nature of actual stakeholder needs, such as the people who will put the devices in operation, dialog must be carried out.

This bug report changes requirement Community outreach in that ‘virtual and physical visits’ is reduced to ‘virtual visits.’ The reason for this regards changing conditions of pandemic laws forbidding travel.

Steps to reproduce

1. Compile a list of stakeholders
2. Search for results of dialog

Expected result

Recorded dialog leads to a clear indication of the stakeholders’ preferences.

Actual result

Neither a list of stakeholders nor results of their dialog exists.

Severity level

This is high priority because project requirements state the work of virtual and physical visits.

Virtual examinations of Defcon, HCPP, and Grayhat have raised awareness of the limited value. CCC RC3, the IoT Online Conference, The Things Conference, and FOSDEM are the next virtual events to study which fall out of scope.

Many maker labs and hacker spaces are closed or offer limited access.

Physical visits are impossible due to pandemic regulations.

Outreach to our target groups has taken the place of visiting venues.
