Request a wireless design review

Problem environment

Electronics manufacturers offer design review services, which can be taken advantage of in order to increase quality.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Log in to Microchip support account
  2. Create a request type Value Added Services
  3. Select a review type Wireless Review

Expected result

A Microchip engineer delivers review information after 12-15 days.

Workaround

Follow the suggested steps on the manufacturer website titled Ready to get started?

Severity level

This is low priority because we expect a rejection due to our choice of Opensource tooling.

The design review yielded suggestions that are partly implemented in 1c8ea48. The flaws found (for example USB differential data pairs, avoiding vias in RF, or balancing impedence and maintaining fifty ohm loads) are too severe to implement.
