Ensure power detour matches MLS

Problem environment

When the SAMR34 chip enters power saving sleep or backup modes, most circuits stop consuming power. The reference circuits that MLS may use assume pins on which TCXO and RF switch consume power unecessarily.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open both sendcomm and reference circuits
  2. Observe the schematic design files
  3. Compare and refer to MLS configuration

Expected result

The Microchip LoRaWAN Stack (MLS) configuration matches the sendcomm schematic.

Actual result

Possibly, the Microchip LoRaWAN Stack (MLS) configuration matches the reference (EVK) schematic.

Notice

MLS based applications have experienced clock problems, which may relate to powering TXCO with the wrong pin.

Severity level

This is medium priority because no MLS based application can work correctly without reviewing this problem.

Resolved by d772d2f. Runtime tests selectively using power from JP1 indicate that PA09 of the MCU correctly supplies voltage to the RF switch.
