Chip antenna AE5 position is not 50Ω impedance

Problem environment

For performance reasons, the chip antenna mandates a 50Ω impedance implying a track width and feed length.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Refer to the layout
  2. Locate the AE5 footprint
  3. Examine the feed track

Expected result

The AE5 chip is positioned and has tracks configured to comply with a 50Ω impedance path.

Actual result

The AE5 chip is positioned almost certainly to violate the recommended impedence.

Severity level

This is low priority because project requirements do not mandate antenna type or performance.

Solved near 0904bbd, with reference to manufacturer advice that ‘prioritize the antenna trace impedance as low.’
