Design lacks a standard JTAG connector

Problem environment

The microcontroller flash storage can be programmed over the JTAG or SWD serial interface on the device. A connector allows for a particular cable to be used.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Observe the layout and bill of materials
  2. Examine the chip programming connector

Expected result

There should be one fast programming cable terminal and one common terminal.

Actual result

There is only a fast programming cable terminal, called Tag-Connect.

Severity level

This is low priority because project requirements specify no cable terminations.
